DESCRIPTION

Aceite Esencial obtained by steam distillation of the seeds of the Elettaria cardamomum plant, originating in South America. The cardamom plant has a rigid and erect vegetative stem with leaves between 2 and 4 meters high, the flowers of the plant are born from a floral stem devoid of leaves. Cardamom is a species known since ancient times that was used as a condiment and medicine. The Arabs and Romans used it to treat gastrointestinal problems. Hippocrates recommended it to relieve colds, abdominal pains, spasms, nervous imbalances and insect bites. In Chinese Medicine, cardamom is also used and considered to help the regeneration of Chi or life force by stimulating the lungs, spleen, heart and nervous system. In Asia, cardamom has been considered a good stimulant, especially recommended for men, since by increasing the production of Chi it was said that it also increased vital and sexual energy.

HOW TO USE

Diffuser: the use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Flask is recommended, as heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use maximum of 10 drops of Aceite Esencial in the diffuser. Body Massage: mix in a carrier vegetable oil at a maximum rate of 3% (60 drops of Aceite Esencial per 100mL of Vegetable Oil). Bathtub: dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Aceite Esencial in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be able to dissolve in the bathtub. Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Aceite Esencial to a saucepan of hot water with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale covering the head and saucepan with a towel, to keep the steam for longer.
