DESCRIPTION

Aceite Esencial obtained by steam distillation of the Myristica fragans tree, originating in the Spice Islands. The myristica or nutmeg tree is a genus of evergreen trees in the family Myristicaceae from the Spice Islands. These trees are the source of two spices derived from the fruit: nutmeg and mace. Other products derived from these trees are also marketed, such as walnut butter. Nutmeg Aceite Esencial is for body use only and should be well diluted in a carrier oil (Sesame Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Jojoba Oil,...) due to its irritating capacity. It works synergistically with Clove Aceite Esencial to help relieve local pain as it also exerts an anesthetic effect. Its use in the diffuser helps us to create an atmosphere that enhances mental stimulation and the activation and invigoration of the individual.

Properties of nutmeg aceite esencial : On a cosmetic level: Nutmeg Aceite Esencial is a tonic, dermoprotective and revitalizing that provides heat in the area of application (possible redness), for this reason its use is not recommended for facial treatments. HOW TO USE

Diffuser: the use of heat-free diffusers such as the ALQVIMIA Flask is recommended, as heat modifies the properties of the oil. Use maximum of 10 drops of Aceite Esencial in the diffuser. Body Massage: mix in a carrier vegetable oil at a maximum rate of 3% (60 drops of Aceite Esencial per 100mL of Vegetable Oil). Bathtub: dilute a maximum of 10-15 drops of Aceite Esencial in a small amount of milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt or Bath Gel. This is because Essential Oils are not soluble in water and need a vehicle to be able to dissolve in the bathtub. Steam Inhalation: Apply a maximum of 5 drops of Aceite Esencial to a saucepan of hot water with approximately 1-2 liters of water, and inhale covering the head and saucepan with a towel, to keep the steam for longer.
